The Olympus Ski Center is located on the western slopes of the mountain, in Vrysopoules at an altitude of: 2,000 m to 2,450 m.

This is a Ski Center belonging to the Greek Army.

It has 3 fairly easy tracks (red). 2 sliding single-seater lifts, 1,200 m and 850 m long respectively and with a capacity of 850 people/hour each and 1 baby-lift.

Other facilities & services
Cafeteria for the public at the Officers' Club. Refuge B, at Vrysopoules location. It is located within the camp and can host 30 people. The overnight stay is completely free, but approval from the unit's Management is required. Parking at 1,800 m. From there it takes a quarter of a walk to the base of the lifts.

Access - Road network
The ski center of Olympus is 42 km away. from Elassona. After the completion of the asphalt paving of the last 13 km. dirt road Sparmos - Vrysopoules, which end at the ski slope, access to it is now easy.

Mode
The Olympos ski center operates from December to March, only on weekends, 09.00-15.00.

Other notes
At Vrysopoules is the KEOACH (Mountain Ski Race Training Center) of the Greek Army. There, the army created and operates a ski center for the training needs of its personnel in skiing, which is today known as the Olympus Ski Center.

Entrance to the Olympus ski center is free and skiing is free.

A necessary condition for entering it is the presentation of the police identity card or passport. Foreigners must have obtained a special permit from the GES, from the Directorate of Special Forces. For organized excursions, approval is also required from the Directorate of Special Forces as well as from the Camp Administration. It is also necessary to fill out a responsible declaration that in case of an accident the army is not responsible. Cars remain outside the camp.
