Speed indicator
The speed indicator appears on the map and specifically on the right.
Speed indicator only
appears during navigation and is adjusted in kilometers per hour (km/h).
Speed measurement
The speed is measured via satellite signal (GPS), based on the degree to which the receiver has moved since the last measurement.
Speed calculations are not subject to the same sources of error as a vehicle speedometer. The accuracy of your location and therefore the accuracy of the calculated speed depends on the quality of the satellite signal at a given time.
