The port of Parga is located in the northwestern part of the prefecture of Preveza and has a regular ferry connection with Paxos and Antipaxos, which is daily in the summer season. It is also connected by excursion boats to Ammoudia, Corfu and Lefkada.

Characteristic of the port of Parga is the picturesque Island of Panagia where there are various medieval and Venetian buildings and a church.

Parga is the busiest tourist resort in the area with many taverns, restaurants, coffee hotels, etc.
