Port of Poros is the largest and safest port of Saronic and one of the largest and safest natural ports in the whole of Greece, with a huge capacity of passing vessels and arrivals exceeding 10,000 a year.

The distance of the island from Piraeus is 29 nautical miles and communication with the flying dolphins (1 hour) and conventional ships (2.5 hours) is daily.

The port of Poros is also accessible from Galatas. There is a continuous ferry connection every half hour.
