The port of Agia Marina is directly connected to the port of Piraeus with regular routes, while it also has frequent connections with the city of Aegina by bus and taxi.

Agia Marina is a well-known and favorite summer tourist destination. It has a large, wonderful sandy beach, perfectly organized, while it is surrounded by green pine forests and in some places the pine trees reach the sea.

From Agia Marina we can tour the surrounding villages of the central mountain mass of the island of Aegina, while they are very close to the Temple of Afaia and the Monastery of Agios Nektarios.
