The port of Kymi serves the ferry connection Kymi - Skyros - Skopelos - Alonissos. The most frequent routes are to Skyros and run daily throughout the year. The journey Kymi - Skyros takes only 1.5-2 hours.

The routes from Kymi to Skopelos and Alonissos are seasonal, i.e. they run mainly in the summer. Sometimes, they are served by the port at Mantoudi in Evia, which is closer to the Northern Sporades.

The port area is relatively small and has a central pier, from where the ships depart for Sporades, and a smaller pier for boats and boats.

The port of Kymi is located on the beach of the homonymous town and is easily accessible by car or bus. Near the departure point of the ships there are useful services, such as ticket offices, which are located inside the port, opposite the departure pier.
